Without being able to read or speak the language well, people are missing out on life-changing experiences. Even though, these experiences can happen right where they live.

People are missing out on cultural knowledge too. Because they never attended the English class so they never knew the importance of the culture itself. English class teaches personal qualities like discipline, sense of responsibility, teamwork, etc.
