2. Social Distancing Restricts The Spread Of Virus

Attaining social distancing is easy in crowded places like markets, bus stands, etc., where crowding leads to chances of passing on the disease easily, especially if someone here is already infected with the coronavirus.

This also reduces unnecessary panic among healthy individuals who may have merely come into contact with an infected individual unknowingly at a crowded place & thus helping them get back to their normal routine life soonest possible without causing social panic.

3. Social Distancing Is A Social Responsibility

Social distancing is a social responsibility strategy that is a part of social mobilization. This strategy seeks to reduce the social interactions between groups known to be at risk of infection. It includes strategies such as the closure of schools and workplaces, quarantine, and staying home from work or social gatherings.

Social mobilization is a social responsibility strategy that comprises education for change on infection prevention and control and behavior change on hygiene practices, communication about public health messages through mass media.

4. Social Distancing Helps Stop Other Infections

Common fever, flu, and infections can be stopped by social distancing as well. Like COVID-19, other infections will not spread by the practice of social distancing. Not only at home but also at school, offices, and public places.

This way, an infectious person could not spread the germs to others which as a result helps to retain the infection. It is important to reduce the social interactions between groups known to be at risk of infection, and those considered as susceptible or asymptomatic, using social distancing.
